A Taste of Home:)
Clark LOVES his mom's "melk tert" (milk tart) - a popular South African dessert. Sara also admits Ma's melt tert is the best she's ever tasted! It's no surprise then that Clark has been missing the "taste of home" and, no sooner had he got his mom's recipe than he got to work making melk terts - turning our kitchen into a melk tert factory! He's made 4 already!
Clark is VERY happy with his culinary accomplishments:) Although, he insists that it still doesn't taste like his mom's! Must be a mother's touch - that "secret" ingredient of love!

Yummmmmm, we'll be right over! Melk Tert is one of my favorite South African deserts. Been a while since I have made it too. Good S. African friends shared her recipe with me years ago. Enjoy your delicasy for us too!
They don't just look good. Hulle proe net sooo lekker !!!
We were lucky to have first hand experience! It was very tasty - especially after that hard cycle!
