Honeymoon

Clark surprised Sara with an African honeymoon/adventure - so now we have some happy memories and photos to see us through home-sick days in America! Here is our last sunset of 2005 - shot on location in the Elephant Wilderness Park in Zimbabwe near to Victoria Falls. This was taken shortly after our elephant-back safari.



Here we are on a sunset cruise on the Zambezi river - saw quite a bit of wildlife! Africa is soooooo beautiful and untouched!




Here we are about to go on our game drive at the Chobe Safari Lodge in Botswana.



Saying goodbye to Victoria Falls before we left for Botswana, we decided to go for a "shower" at the falls - anybody who has been to the falls know exactly what we mean with a "shower"!



On our elephant-back safari - here we are on the back of Thandi - she is the matriach of her group - quite amazing to see how all the elephants listened and obeyed her instinctively!

Bridal Party

Here is Sonia - Sara's sister and only bridesmaid.
And here is the full bridal party - very unconventional and anti-establishment with 1 bridesmaid and 3 best men! We wanted our siblings to be a special part of our day.
Clark's brothers - or as they are more affectionately known - "Die Botha Broers"! From left is Sidney (the youngest), then Clark (the handsome one), then Kelvin (the eldest), and Clive (the 2nd eldest).

Here is the highlight of our journey together - our wedding day! We had our dream wedding on the 28th of December 2005 at the Morgenhof Wine Estate in Stellenbosch - the most beautiful part of the world! It was a day full of excitement, laughter and love, and believe it or not - very little nerves!!!
