Gaither Concert

We were so excited about attending a Gaither concert in San Diego last night! and boy - was it worth it! :) The concert was unbelievable! It's so strange to see all the singers - they all seem so much larger than life. If Gaither is ever in your area - we HIGHLY recommend that you attend one of their concerts!

The Cox Arena in San Diego. We arrived at about 5:30pm (the concert was scheduled for 7pm) and there were already loads of people gathering. It was nice to get there early and shop for DVDs and CDs - we really stocked up! and of course, Clark got some great song-books too:)

It's a massive arena - there's Sara with our smoothies:) We were quite close to the action as you can see!

The Gaither Vocal Band with "Ernie Haase and Signature Sound" - they sing well together and are very entertaining. We will post a video sometime soon so keep watching:)

Mariposa Grove of Giant Sequoias

This morning we packed up and headed for the grove of Sequoia trees in the Yosemite Forest. We had to take a bit of a hike but it was worth it when we saw these big trees! Really impressive.

Yosemite Vol. 2

This is on the porch of our A-frame cabin on Thursday afternoon just after arriving and settling in.

The Easter bunny paid us all a visit this morning:) Janine and Sara got up early and put together some yummy easter egg surprises and hid them all around the cabin!

Yosemite National Park

We went up to Yosemite National Park this weekend with the Lansdowns and stayed at the SDA camp there - Camp Wowona.

Beautiful view. That's all of us on Thursday - Nick (Janine's boyfriend), Janine, Carly and the Bothas. Jesse and Uncle Phil had to work and study so only came through on Friday.

Happy Birthday Janine!

Janine's birthday is on Monday and we are all going to Yosemite next weekend to celebrate:) but she had a birthday party yesterday and we went through to join in the fun!

Look at aunty Viv's beautiful flowers from her garden...she really has a talent with her gardening. Wish some of it would rub off on us - we had another plant die on us this week!
